What if Education Meant Demonstrated Learning
Without doubt, education is one of the most essential components in the success of an individual. The prior statement being factual and combined with the fact that a community, state, or nation is built on a foundation of individual contributions, it could also be said that the success of the community, state or nation is tied to the education of the individual. In other words, as the individual pursues education and enhances his or her ability to contribute to society,society becomes enhanced because the individual is also part of society. Think of it like a bed comforter. The better the thread, the better the fabric and the better the quality of the comforter. The individuals who make up society are like the thread that make up the fabric of society. To that end, the success of the community, state or nation is based on the individual contributions resulting from an individual's pursuit of a greater reward for oneself. You may have heard the quote " A rising tide lifts all boats". This Phrase can be attributed to President of the United States, John F. Kennedy, in 1963. Regardless of political affiliation, the statistics prove that as the individuals who comprise the fabric of society advance, so does the society in which the individuals are part of.
This being the case, one could then wonder why education, one of the most vital aspects of a strong foundation for society is not made a little more readily available to those who would seek it's benefits and at a much lower cost, if not free. After all, society benefits right?

It is possible to gain access to the knowledge of some of the greatest universities in the world. Yertopia Project participants will have access to knowledge from top tier universities such as Harvard, Yale, Carnegie Mellon, Oxford, Notre Dame, MIT and many more. This access will be at NO COST TO THE STUDENT!
The Yertopia Project is built on the premise that all learning is self learning and a person is not smarter just because he or she sits in a classroom for 16 weeks, 50 minutes a day, 2 days a week. Our program, is built on experience as well as class room learning. We provide the tools, the mentorship, the relationships, the experience and the opportunity for the student to prove competency prior to credits or college degrees being earned.
In other words, Classroom learning from top universities (the same classes and same teachers as those attending the university itself) and Experience in the community using the skills that have been theorized in the classroom.
Participants will earn a regionally accredited degree from one of our Education partners as well as a degree from our program.
